What it is
STEM Saturday is an all-day event that aims to foster high school students' interest in STEM fields. Once a semester, we invite a group of freshmen and sophomores from a nearby high school to join us for a day of STEM lessons, discussions with current U-M students, and a tour of the campus. It is our goal to expose students to concepts and careers that they may have never considered before and help them picture themselves as future scientists.

"My favorite part of the day was conversing with all of the college students getting first hand advice about everything college related."
|
"I gained a valuable experience and some insight into some of the things that come attached to a STEM career. It's definitely warmed me up to the idea of going into a field in the sciences."
